Managing Through Crisis

The nonprofit sector has been deeply disrupted by successive crises and shocks over the past few years, and the current environment is more turbulent than ever. As nonprofit leaders, you are in a unique position to react and provide leadership that both learns from and prepares your staff and organization for disruptions. In this session, we will explore three areas where leaders can show up and support their organizations, right now and into the future: 1) creating responsive spaces of care and stability with effective communication 2) managing financial implications and scenario planning, and 3) mitigating disruption in programs and services.
Workshop Objectives:
At the end of this workshop, participants will be prepared to:
1. Create responsive spaces of care and stability for staff while an organization experiences a crisis
2. Refine their communication to stakeholders for a variety of scenarios
3. Develop plans to manage financial and programmatic implications of crises
