Measuring Safety 2024: 103rd Illinois General Assembly Review (Virtual Lunch and Learn)

Join the Policy, Advocacy, and Research team at The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence to learn about the key takeaways from the second report of Measuring Safety 2024, a data report series on gender-based violence in Illinois, which focuses on statewide legislative activity from January of 2023 to January of 2025, during the 103rd General Assembly. The report identifies 30 bills that were passed in the last two years that created new, survivor-centered law, including a feature on the advocacy effort behind Karina's Bill, The Network's flagship legislation. It also features legislator voting records for 10 priority bills to inform our community on how their leaders vote. The event is open to anyone and, in particular, The Network encourages leaders of GBV service organizations to attend. We hope to see you there!
