Part I | Understanding Gender-Based Violence (GBV) - Creating Safe Spaces for Survivors:

Join us for an overview of gender-based violence as we explore the dynamics of GBV in our area and how we can provide meaningful, survivor-centered support. We will discuss best practices to create safe, confidential, and trauma-informed spaces and review the importance of safety planning and how to develop a personalized safety plan. This training is available in both English and Spanish.
Part II | Partnering to House Survivors of GBV - Illinois and Federal Housing Protections:

Join us as we review housing protections for survivors of gender-based violence and explore how we can take actionable steps within our housing programs to keep survivors safe from gender-based violence. We will review Illinois and federal housing protections for survivors as well as legal protections available to immigrants experiencing GBV. This training is available in both English and Spanish.
