The Network

The Network: Advocating Against Domestic Violence invites Cook County Commissioners and their staff to an hour-long virtual training led by our Policy, Advocacy, and Research team. This session will explain what domestic violence is and highlight its far-reaching impacts on constituents—such as housing instability, increased demands on public safety systems, lost workplace productivity, higher healthcare costs, and long-term effects on children and families. We will also share The Network’s FY2026 county level budget priorities for Cook County and discuss how county-level leadership can help strengthen prevention efforts, improve survivor services, and reduce the social and economic costs of abuse in our communities.
