Digital Safety Course

The Internet and online spaces bring us connection, resources, and community, but can also introduce risks if we're not careful or don't know what to look for. As advocates, we must also have a basic understanding of digital privacy and security to help survivors with the ever-growing presence of technology-facilitated abuse. Join us for an accessible introduction to digital & online safety, in partnership with the Cyber Collective's Internet Street Smarts Course! In this session, we’ll cover key terms and practical strategies to not only help protect your privacy and security online, but those of survivors and our wider community.
Whether you’re new to the topic or looking for a refresher, you’ll leave with tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world more confidently and safely.
This virtual training is provided for members and IDHS-funded organizations only; and will issues 2 CEUs at no cost. For Social Work CEUs, please indicate this clearly in your registration and later in your evaluation. Please confirm here if your organization is a member of The Network.
A Zoom link will be provided the day before training begins.
