Audience: Anyone interested in learning more about tax topics or refreshing their knowledge before tax season
During this workshop, Aariz Gawandi and Evan Ploeckelman, student clinicians with the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic, will discuss common tax return issues and tax issues many survivors face. They will also discuss resources and organizations that you can turn to for complicated tax issues.
Aariz Gawandi and Evan Ploeckelman are law students at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. They are clinicians at the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic, which assists low-income taxpayers with federal income tax legal issues. They will be presenting on the Loyola Federal Tax Clinic, resources for taxpayers, and other tax issues ahead of the 2025 tax filing season.
This virtual training is provided for members and IDHS-funded organizations only; and will issues 2 CEUs at no cost. For Social Work CEUs, please indicate this clearly in your registration and later in your evaluation. Please confirm here if your organization is a member of The Network.
