2026 Quarterly Data Management Training Series
The Network's Policy, Advocacy, and Research team is pleased to provide members with a new, quarterly, data-focused training series!
Registration for this event series will guarantee the registrant access to any (and all) of the data trainings offered in 2026. Each training is described below and will be conducted via Zoom.
Excel 102: Beginner Data Visualization - March 10 from 2 to 4pm: This beginner-level workshop will cover the fundamentals of data visualization, principles of visual communication, and how to create simple charts and graphs in Excel.
Program Evaluation Fundamentals – June 11 from 12 to 2pm: This presentation, in collaboration with University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), will cover the fundamentals of program evaluation to support organizations in demonstrating the efficacy of their services. The training will be developed in response to a needs-survey of registrants to be distributed this spring.
Excel 201: Intermediate Analysis – September 15 from 2 to 4pm: This intermediate-level workshop will cover the cover common functions for data analysis and template-design skills to support efficient spreadsheet workflows.
Survivor Interview Best Practices – December 8 from 12 to 2pm: This presentation will cover best practices for interviewing survivors about their experiences, including recruitment strategies, communication priorities, trauma-informed design, and story security.
